What Do Ya' Do When It's Cold and Snowy Outside?

I don't know about you but when the forecast calls for snowy, blizzardy (not sure that's a word) winter weather, I get in the mood to cook/bake.  So, that being said, I'm trying a new recipe for supper tonight.  Shhhh....don't tell the hubby.  It is Pumpkin Chili...LOL  I know,  sounds crazy,  but all the reviews I read (except for one)  was very favorable.  I hope I'm not #2 on the unfavorable list or we are going to be hungry tonight..LOL  So, all he knows is we are having chili tonight and I'm trying a different recipe. Oh it's different alright!  So what to do with the extra cup of pumpkin left after mixing up the chili?  Well, pumpkin cookies, of course.  Cookies always make the husband happy so that may smooth over the chili if it turns out to be a disaster.  Stay tuned for update on how this turns out for me.
