Hello Blogger Friends

I've decided to take the plunge and join the world of blogging.  This has been on my mind for some time now and for some reason I decided today was the day.  I am not a writer as you will soon be able to confirm, although I have dabbled a bit here and there writing some poetry just about things special to me.  From time to time, I may share them with you. This blog will be a little of this and a little of that.  I love to scrapbook and make cards so I'm sure there will be a lot of talk about that on here as well as life in general.  Oh, and the name "DeeDee"...don't call me that if you see me on the street because unless you are my Uncle Larry I probably won't answer to it..LOL  Dee is my middle name and has always been Uncle Larry's name for me.  I may even find something to give away once in awhile.  That's it for now.  Off to make my sweetie some African Chicken Peanut Soup for supper...yummy!!!
